motion_blur

Motion blur refers to visual action hints or the perceived blur along the path of movement of an object when your camera or eyes can not sample it fast enough to get a crisp image.

Closely related to the concept of showing movement in a still image as blur is the use of Motion Lines as often seen in comic books.
